Position Summary:



We are currently seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Recruiting Coordinator to join our team at Mid-Ohio Pipeline in Lexington, Ohio. The successful candidates will be enthusiastic, hardworking, organized, with great communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Knowledge of gas pipeline construction preferred.    



The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas.  The Recruiting Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.

Job Requirements



Primary Objectives of the Recruiter:



•         Develop and execute recruiting plans by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.



•         Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; attending career fairs, and maintaining rapport.



•         Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees.



•         Administrative duties and recordkeeping.



•         Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.



•         Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.



•         Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.



•         Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance.



•         Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.



•         Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.



•         Post openings in newspaper advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues.



•         Perform other special projects as assigned.



Requirements:



•         Associates or Bachelor’s Degree



•         Minimum of three (3) Years as a Recruiting Coordinator in the construction industry



•         Must have a strong attention to detail and superior organization skills



•         Must be well-versed in sourcing techniques using the Internet and be able to generate candidate pipeline for multiple jobs simultaneously



•         Experience assisting with Onboarding



•         Strong computer skills in Microsoft office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)



•         Valid Driver’s License and Reliable personal transportation.



•         Ability to travel required.



•         Must be able to work long hours and weekends if needed.
